Chinese President Xi Jinping is expected in Cambodia on Thursday and Friday at the invitation of the country's king, Norodom Sihamoni.

In anticipation of the visit, authorities have renovated landmarks along the streets of the capital, Phnom Penh.

Many hope the visit can help expand the countries' bilateral relations, revitalizing trade and other economic exchanges between the pair, which will, in turn, drive development and growth in the south-east Asian country.
