The Syrian government has warned that all aid going to the divided city of Aleppo must be coordinated with Damascus and the United Nations. The foreign ministry said Syria rejects the entry of humanitarian aid to Aleppo, particularly from Turkey, without coordination with the Syrian government and the United Nations.
The statement came after media reports that an aid convoy was heading from Turkey to Aleppo city on Tuesday, hours after the start of a fragile truce brokered by Russia and the United States.
