Full coverage: G20 Hangzhou Summit
This year's G20 summit hosts the largest number of developing countries ever. China has invited many more non-G20 countries, including Laos, Chad, Senegal, Thailand, Kazakhstan and Egypt. Those countries represent a variety of regional country clusters.
For the first time, the issue of development was given prominence in the framework of global macro policy. And for the first time, action plans on implementing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development will be formulated.
The four key phrases for this year's G20 are Innovation, Opening up, Development, and Green. And the summit is seeking ways to find long-term solutions for the struggling global economy.
