Turkish Primi Minister Binali Yildirim says Turkey will press on with offensive in northern Syria untill all threats are removed and national security guaranteed.
Clashes between Turkey's military and Kurdish militia in Syria have subsided on Tuesday evening. The Pentagon said Turkish forces had moved to the west, while Kurdish forces had moved east of the Euphrates River.
The US Department of State says it welcomes the lull. But Turkey said it did not accept US claims about the truce with Kurdish militia.
