A bomb has exploded at the the Brussels Institute of Criminology, with no reports of casualties so far.

Broadcaster R-T-L says a car rammed through the barriers early Monday morning, and one or more attackers detonated a bomb near the laboratories which subsequently caught fire.

The compound in north Brussels was empty when the attack happened.
