Full coverage: Belt and Road Initiative

A forum on the "Belt and Road" initiative has been held in Iran's capital Tehran, focusing primarily on the cooperation between China and the Islamic republic.

The forum was organized by China's State Council Information Office, the Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and the Chinese Embassy to Iran.

Dozens of experts from the two nations gathered to discuss various issues concerning the initiative and bilateral cooperation. During the forum, they expressed confidence towards the cooperation between China and Iran.
