Brazil's Senate has opened the impeachment trial for President Dilma Rousseff. It is now hearing witnesses for and against Rousseff, who might be unseated next week.
Rousseff is Brazil's first female president. She will appear before the 81 senators on Monday to defend herself, but a poll published recently shows that among the 51 senators committed to voting, only 19 support her.
The final result of votes is expected to come out next week. Rousseff was suspended in May. She's been accused of fiddling with the budget to mask a slump in the economy.
