South Korea’s military says that it plans to carry out the largest-ever artillery drill on Friday near the border with the DPRK.
The country’s Defense Ministry said in a statement that the drill is to demonstrate its determination to retaliate against future provocations.
Some 300 artillery pieces from 49 artillery battalions are planning to take part in the live-fire exercise.
