Full coverage: G20 Hangzhou Summit

Our reporter Hou Na was at this morning's press conference in Beijing, and tells us more about the agenda of this year's G20 summit.

According to Zhu Guangyao, the Deputy Finance Minister, this year's theme will include a promote towards an innovative, invigorated, interconnected and inclusive world economy.

"Finance ministers and central bank governors of the G20 members have agreed unanimously in Shanghai to comprehensively apply monetary, financial and structural reforms to each G20 member and to the G20 group as a whole. We will also hand in these policy proposals to the upcoming G20 Summit," said Zhu Guangyao, Chinese Vice Finance Minister.

And also Yi Gang, the Vice Central Bank Governor said this G20 Summit will for the first time issue a report on green financing. The summit will issue a comprehensive report on development sustainable development and inclusive growth.

"This year, for the first time, China has included the topic of green financing in the agenda of the G20 Summit, and set up a green financing research group. The Hangzhou G20 Summit will approve the first ever G20 green financing comprehensive report, clarifying the definition, purpose, scope and challenges of green financing," said Yi Gang, deputy governor of People's Bank of China.

When asked about whether the issue of South China Sea would be discussed during the G20 Summit, Li Baodong, the Deputy Foreign Minister said well this G20 Summit will solely focus on economic issues. So other issues will not be discussed during the session.

"This year's G20 Summit in Hangzhou will focus on economic growth. How to promote global economic recovery, and stimulate trade and investment growth. That is what we care about most," said Li Baodong, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister.
