Full coverage: G20 Hangzhou Summit
Prior to next month's G20 Summit in the eastern Chinese city of Hangzhou, China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi has spoken over the phone with his US counterpart John Kerry.
They discussed US president Barack Obama's visit to China and his participation in the G20 Summit.
Wang said as the summit's host country, China is ready to cooperate with other countries, including the US, to do a good job for this G20, as well as send a positive signals to the international community seeking strong and sustainable economic development.
The two also exchanged views on the recent security concerns in Korean Peninsula.
