With competition on the sixth day of the Rio Olympics coming to an end, let's take a look at the medals table.
The United States is leading the medal count with 16 golds. Simone Manuel claimed their latest gold medal in the women's 100-metre freestyle. She and Canadian Penelope Oleksiak actually recorded the same time and were both awarded gold.
China is currently second in the medals table with 11 golds, 8 silvers and 11 bronzes -- a total of 30 medals.
Japan is the next with seven golds. And rounding off the top five are Australia and South Korea-- with five golds each.
