The DRPK has criticized the growing US military presence in South Korea, describing US troops in the South as a "time bomb."
A spokesman for the National Peace Committee of Korea accused the US of sending an anti-ballistic missile battery for a drill from Okinawa to its air force base in South Korea. He also urged the South to change its pro-US policy and called for a withdrawal of US forces from the Korean Peninsula.
Meanwhile, a spokesman for the DPRK's foreign ministry said the US is to be blamed for the tensions in the region. He said Pyongyang will do whatever it can to prevent its sovereignty and dignity.
