To the Mongolian capital, where Chinese Premier Li Keqiang called for greater economic and trade cooperation at the opening of the Asia-Europe Meeting summit on Friday. Li began his speech at the ASEM gathering in Ulaanbaatar by extending his condolences to the victims of the terrorist attack in the French city of Nice.
Li added that China supports efforts to ensure regional security, world peace, and an international rule of law. Li also called for pragmatic Asia-European economic cooperation, with an emphasis on open trade. And urged all sides to quickly establish an open and inclusive mega-market across Asia and Europe in order to facilitate free trade and investment.
