Chinese Premier Li Keqiang has arrived in Wuhan, capital city of central China’s Hubei province, to command relief and rescue operations in the face of devastating floods.

Continuous heavy rains in the past week have caused breaches of embankments in several cities in the province.
Li traveled to Qingshan district directly from the high-speed railway terminal where the Yangzte River bank was overflown. He instructed for reinforcements to help consolidate the embankment on the river.
