23 killed, 7 injured in Guizhou landslide

Twenty-three people have been killed while seven others were injured when a landslide hit southwest China's Guizhou Province.

The landslide, triggered by intense rain, hit a village in Dafang County on Friday. Thirty people were buried. The victims were recovered after more than forty hours of search and rescue operations. Now that the on-site rescue has ended, reconstruction work is underway.
