In a communique, the ministers urged G20 countries to formulate development strategies and action plans to boost renewable energy investment and consumption. The document also suggests that G20 countries hold dialogues on emergencies, guard against market disruptions and keep energy safety. The meeting is also a preparation for another energy sector meeting at the Hangzhou G20 summit in September.
