Chinese President Xi Jinping is meeting with top officials in Uzbekistan, his last stop on his three-nation tour.

Uzbekistan's president, Islam Karimov held a welcoming party for Xi in the country's capital, Tashkent. After the ceremony, the two leaders held talks to jointly promote the Belt and Road Initiative.

They also vowed to combat terrorism, separatism and extremism, and support each other in territorial and security issues.
