After the UN aid delivery was completed, fighting renewed and sounds of clashes could be heard in the Syria capital, as government forces and rebel pounded each other's positions.
And to the north of the country fighting renewed in Aleppo as rebels under the command of Al-Qaeda's Syrian affiliate Nusra front have pressed ahead in their attack against government forces south of Aleppo. Also in Aleppo at least five were killed and over 20 others wounded when rebels shelled government controlled parts of the city according the state news agency SANA.
