The defense ministers of allies Iran, Russia, and Syria have held talks in Tehran, to reinforce cooperation in the fight against ISIL and al-Nusra Front terrorist groups.

Iranian Defense Minister General Hossein Dehghan said he and his Russian and Syrian counterparts are determined to block all terrorist groups from receiving political support or weapons.

The three officials agree that a comprehensive ceasefire and humanitarian aids are the first steps to restore regional security. They also said supporting Syrian forces is another priority.
