China's Tibetan cultural delegation has recently visited Denmark. This is the last leg of the delegation's tour of Europe, following visits to Hungary and Iceland.

China's Tibetan cultural delegation visits Denmark

The delegation presented information on recent economic and social developments in China's Tibet Autonomous Region. The delegation pointed out that, since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, and especially since the country's Opening-up, Tibet has undergone significant changes and people's living standards have been dramatically improved.

They hoped that China and Denmark would continue their cooperation. They also welcomed Danish people from all walks of life to visit Tibet. Danish officials remarked that such face-to-face exchanges are helpful in enhancing mutual understanding of the two peoples.
