Tibetan cultural delegation of China visited Iceland from last Thursday to Saturday. The delegation presented information on recent economic and social developments in China's Tibet Autonomous Region.

They said since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, especially since the Reform and Opening-up, Tibet has undergone dramatic changes and people's living standards have enormously improved.

They hoped that China and Iceland would continue their cooperation. They also welcomed Icelandic people from all walks of life to visit Tibet. The Icelandic side said that such face-to-face exchanges are helpful in enhancing mutual understanding.
