Take a look at a legal battle over wireless patents for 4G networks between two of the largest global technology firms. China's technology titan Huawei has filed lawsuits against its South Korean rival Samsung for infringement of intellectual property rights.
The Chinese firm says it is entitled to reasonable compensation from companies that use its technology without a proper license. Huawei also pointed out that it has spent about US$9 billion on research of this new technology.
Samsung replied that they will make a full assessment of the lawsuit to defend its business interests. Huawei is the world's third largest smartphone maker, following Apple and Samsung.
