To further discuss Huawei and the growth of its Chinese counterparts, we turn again to Mr. Zhao Zhongxiu, vice president of the University of International Business and Economics.
Q1. A 'Created in China' brand, Huawei is presenting a great report card both in and outside of China. What about other Chinese companies in the industry? Are they developing in a similar way? If Huawei is singular in its achievements, what are some of the lessons it can offer?
Q2. Huawei is now overtaking Apple in the domestic market. Does this mean any change in what Chinese consumers want?
Q3. The home court is still the most important and competitive playground for producers like Huawei and Xiaomi. But domestic smartphone sales only grew 2.5 percent last year according to IDC. How does the Chinese smartphone market look to you now?
