Stay with football, and while most matters in Europe have been settled there was still business to take care of in Germany where Eintracht Frankfurt travelled to face Nuremberg, the team who finished 3rd in the second division, for the second leg of their Bundesliga relegation playoff.

The Eagles finishes 3 points above Stuttgart who dropped automatically to the tier below and after a 1-1 draw in the first leg and this game would be a nervy encounter as Nuremberg eyed a return to Germany's top division after 2 years away.

Both teams start very defensively and we have to wait until first half injury time for an opening. Hans Seferovic's shot is spilled by keeper Raphael Schafer and Majat Gacinovic puts the rebound wide. It remains nil nil at the break.

21 minutes after the re-start the visitors make the break though when the two combine again. Gacinovic picks the ball up on the left flank, twists and turns his way into the area before firing it across the face for Seferovic to tap in from close range to send the travelling fans into raptures.

The Bundesliga 2 side fail to get on the score sheet and by the full time a whistle they remain a second tier side while Frankfurt live to fight another day with the cream of German football.
