The Cleveland Cavaliers was looking to stay perfect this post-season. The Cavs swept their first two series, and grabbed game one of the Eastern Final against Toronto. Another win for LeBron James and company and they would be just the fourth team ever, to start the playoffs with 10-straight wins.
The Raptors making a line-up change inserting Luis Scola into the starting five. But, that did not seem to make a difference to the Raps interior defence, as Lebron James finds Tristan Thompson underneath for the flush. One of 11 assists for the King. Cavs up 8. But the Dinos would go on a 9-oh run, and reclaim the lead -- Terence Ross capping things off with a triple. But the hosts would start to pull away -- LBJ gets the steal, and he goes the other way for the windmill jam -- and the Drakes need to call a time-out.
Then Kyrie Irving gets into the act, going behind the back, and canning the jumper. He had a game high 27 points and the Cavs are in charge. Much to Lebron's liking.
The lead swells to double-digits but T-O tries to claw their way back -- DeMarre Carroll gets the tough hoop underneath.
As hall-of-famer Kareem Abdul Jabbar looks on. The host would continue to pull away in the second half -- J.R. Smith pump fakes and cans the triple and it is a 15-point game.
And the margin becomes 20 points when leBron gets to the cup for a deuce. He finishes with a triple-double of 23-points. 11-rebounds, and 11-assists, as Cleveland rolls to a 19-point win and a 2-nothing series lead, and remain perfect in these playoffs. LeBron extremely modest after the win.
