In the NBA Playoffs the Cleveland Cavaliers were looking to remain perfect this post-season. The Cavs rolled through the opening two rounds, sweeping Detroit and Atlanta, and are hoping to continue that run against the Toronto Raptors in the Eastern Conference Final. In fact, during the big three era of LeBron James, Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving -- they have never lost a playoff game when all have been healthy. Remember in last years' finals, Love was out with a shoulder injury, and Irving hurt his knee.
The Raptors would be competitive in the first quarter, scoring the first 7 points, before the Cavs made a comeback, but DeMar DeRozan is able to put the Dinos back in front. 18 for him.
Cleveland would then go on a run -- Iman Shumpert goes down main street for the dunk. Shumpman, shumpman, that boy is up to something.
Early in the second, the hosts continue to play well -- Shumpert swings the ball to Mathew Dellavadova for the triple. Cavs go on a 12-0 run and are in control.
Cleveland would extend the lead later in the period, as LeBron goes baseline and rocks the rim while getting fouled. 24 for the King.
Then Kyrie Irving gets into the act -- showing off some ridiculous handles, as he goes behind the back for the lay-in. He would have a game-high 27, as the lead swells to 20.
Second half, and the Cavs point guard would continue to get buckets -- this time from the corner, the friendly shooter's roll -- as the hosts are blowing the Drakes out.
LeBron is then able to step into the passing lane and go the other way, he misses the first attempt, but gets the rebound, as Cleveland wins it by 31, as they grab game one of the Eastern Conference Final, and Cavs coach was full of praise for his tremendous trio.
