Steph Curry wasn't the only member of the Golden State Warriors who showed tremendous desire to improve. The team's entire roster followed the lead of the MVP while enjoying one of the greatest campaigns in NBA history, and as Damion Jones reports, that's why the squad from Oakland is now in prime position to possibly win a second straight Larry O'Brien Trophy.

With Steph Curry leading the way, the Golden State Warriors opened up their championship defense with 24 straight wins -- one of many NBA marks they would break -- en route to rewriting the history books.

Individually, Curry tied a league record by drilling 12 three-pointers against the Oklahoma City Thunder on February 27th, and would finish the campaign with 402 overall, shattering his own NBA standard of 286, which had been set just a season earlier.

The reigning titleholders also established league records for overall victories while going 73-9, road wins with 34, and consecutive regular season home victories with 54. They became the first team in NBA history to go through an entire campaign without dropping back-to-back games, or losing to the same opponent twice, as well.
