As China continues to sow cultural seeds around the world, central and eastern Europe are in the picture this year. A forum is underway to promote cooperation among the related countries.

China arts alliance with central and eastern Europe

The artforms on the agenda include music, dance, drama, fine arts, and children’s plays. Throughout this week, officials and artists from China and 16 countries, including Albania, the Czech Republic, and Bulgaria, will discuss cooperation opportunities in the arts, including talent training, project management, and marketing.

The forum is also part of China’s ‘One Belt One Road’ initiative, which promotes exchange between China and other countries along the Ancient Silk Road.
