Pyongyang wakes up to the third day of the ruling party's Congress. Yesterday saw the election of leader Kim Jong Un to the top party post.

The nation's state television broadcast an edited video of the opening ceremony on Friday, showing around five-thousand people in attendance. Kim made an opening address before giving a report on the Party's work.

The congress is set to review the works of the party's Central Committee and its Central Audit Commission.
