Who is Michel Temer, the man who would be the next president if Rousseff is removed from office?
The 75-year-old lawyer and professor heads the centrist Brazilian Democratic Movement Party, or PMDB. He's been party president for 15 years. He has served three times as speaker of the lower house of Congress.
As vice president to Rousseff since 2011, Temer has mostly been rallying support in Congress for her agenda. However, at the end of March, his party, which holds the most Congressional seats, voted to quit the ruling coalition.
