A new round of peace talks between Yemen's former government and Houthi rebels have been postponed. The talks were initially scheduled for Monday in Kuwait. Officials say the failure by some parties to arrive for the talks caused the delay.
According to Kuwaiti media, Houthi rebel leaders and former government representatives decided to stay in Yemen's capital Sanaa, after fresh clashes between the two sides broke out earlier today.
A cease-fire that began on April 10th was supposed to pave the way for new peace negotiations, but both sides have complained of repeated cease-fire violations.
