A new ceasefire has entered into effect in Yemen, based on a consensus by the government and the Houthi rebels. The ceasefire was to start in the Taiz Province in central Yemen, but it's not immediately clear if it is being observed.
The United Nations hopes the agreement can be the cornerstone of a long-lasting peace deal at upcoming peace talks in Kuwait on April 18th, which is hoped to lead to the possible end of "major" military operations in Yemen.
