The DPRK has released a video depicting a mock artillery attack on South Korea’s main government buildings, including the presidential office of Cheong Wa Dae, or the Blue House.

The video was published on the website DPRK Today, under the title “Unless South Korea complies with our ultimatum.” The 1 minute 28 second video shows images of its long-range artillery exercises, artillery shelling downtown Seoul and the destruction of S. Korean government offices and U.S. Forces Korea headquarters. It is the third video of its kind in some two weeks, with one targeting the U.S. homeland.

The South Korean Defense Ministry called the video “a threat,” and warned that the DPRK will only self-destruct unless it stops its “acts of provocation.”

Meanwhile, South Korea carried out a joint air attack exercise with the U.S. It is part of a series of drills intended to test their combat readiness to counter potential aggression from the north.
