Gunfire breaks out at rally of Bakiyev supporters in southern Kyrgyzstan -- reports

BISHKEK, April 15 (Xinhua) -- Gunfire erupted a rally in support of Kyrgyz President Kurmanbek Bakiyev on Thursday in the southern Kyrgyz city of Osh, media reports said.

The shooting broke out when Bakiyev was addressing about 1,000 supporters in Osh, the reports said.

There were no immediate reports of casualties.

An anti-Bakiyev rally was also going on in the city.
