Iran parliament approves first woman minister

TEHRAN, Sept. 3 (Xinhua) -- Iran's parliament on Thursday approves the nomination for the new health minister, the country's first female minister.

Two other female nominees, for education and welfare ministers, were rejected by the parliament.
