China's Ministry of Health says that a man in the southern coastal province of Guangdong is suspected of having caught the A/H1N1 flu.

The 59-year-old man returned home on Friday from a tour in South Africa via South Korea and Hong Kong. He displayed fever and other symptoms en route from Hong Kong to Guangdong by train T-810. Upon arrival, he was sent to a hospital in Guangzhou and put into quarantine.

The ministry says he's now in stable condition. Hong Kong health officials are searching for people who came into close contact with the man. They're also reminding the public to take basic measures to protect themselves from the disease.
