As China marks the first anniversary of the devastating Wenchuan earthquake, President Hu Jintao is conducting an inspection tour in Sichuan Province. It's his third visit since the earthquake, and this time, the focus is on reconstruction.

The first stop is Mianyang, to meet relief worker delegates and those engaged in reconstruction. President Hu thanked them for their persistent efforts and encouraged them to carry on.

The president then visited patients at a physical rehabilitation center. He asked about their condition and treatment, and encouraged them to continue their therapy and live a better life.

Hu Jintao's top concern is the resumption of production and rebuilding homes. At the site for the new Beichuan county seat, the president asked how construction was progressing, and directed them to draw up a proper and well-considered design, paying attention to quality.
