　　2008 is a special year to all the Chinese. More than ever before, the people of the whole world will turn to Beijing because of the sports festival, the 29th Olympic Games. It’s the first time that the Games take place in Beijing, a result of China’s development and endeavors of the Chinese people and governments at all levels. As a sponsor, China is already gearing up for the Games. The four years up to 2008 will witness China’s rapid progress. This great event also provides great opportunities for the media to displaying China to the world. Internet, as the new media, will undoubtedly play an important role.

　　As the most powerful and prominent media institution in China, CCTV has unparalleled superiorities in policy, technology, human resource, and brand recognition. It is bound to be the leader in demonstrating the Olympic Games and the prosperous China.

　　There would not be CCTV.com if without CCTV. The biggest leverage of the CCTV.com lies in the fact that it interacts the super power of the CCTV. Utilizing the unique feature of the TV and the Internet, CCTV.com can achieve unsurpassed communication outcomes. Here are the reasons:
