  央視-索福瑞媒介研究有限公司(簡稱CSM)是央視市場研究股份有限公司(CTR)與世界領先的市場研究集團——TNS合作成立的中外合資公司,于1997年12月4日在北京註冊成立。公司致力於專業的受眾視聽率研究,以及體育贊助評估研究的調查服務。

  TNS是世界上排名第二的市場研究集團,在全球70多個國家開展大專業調查和諮詢服務。TNS擁有最優秀電視收視率分析軟體,在歐洲已擁有幾十年的電視觀眾調查經驗,目前在全球25個國家進行電視受眾調查服務。

  CTR市場研究是國內最大的市場研究公司,擁有中國最大的媒介、全國讀者調查和消費者固定樣組的調查網絡。CTR在中國已有10多年的電視觀眾收視調查經驗,對本地市場的了解和熟悉無人能夠比擬。

  CSM operates the world's largest TV audience measurement panel. By Jan of 2005, our panels covered more than 225 cities (counties), 36,000 households and over 122,000 persons, including 1 National PeopleMeter Panel, 3 Provincial PeopleMeter Panel, 30 City PeopleMeter Panel, 20 Provincial Diary Panel and 94 City Diary Panel, measuring over 1,000 main channels all day, every day of the year.

  CSM continues to focus on applying the most advanced audience measurement technology to China's fast growing market to meet the TV media and Advertising Agency's audience measurement requirements. In addition to our high quality diary panels, CSM has already introduced TNS people meters (the most technologically advanced audience measurement technology available) into China. By Jan of 2005, CSM placed meters in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Chongqing, Changsha, Xi'an, Hengyang, Changde, Shaoguan, Zhuhai, Zhongshan, Chaozhou, Suzhou, Zhanjiang, Jiangmen, Wuxi, Wuhan ,Huizhou, Shenyang, Jinzhou, Fushun, Huzhou, Harbin, Nanjing, Wenzhou, Changzhou and Ningbo. It also launched the first ever national peoplemeter system in China, to monitor nearly 2,000 panel households throughout China. In 2002 CSM also launched the first ever, provincial urban panel installing meter in people meters in 400 households. Currently, we have three provincial peoplemeter urban panels so far. In the near future, CSM will install people meters in many more cities throughout China, upgrading our existing diary panel network..

  CSM's TV audience measurement network (covering all of China) and our advanced technology standards have made CSM the leader in the TV audience measurement market in China. As such our client base continues to increase as more and more clients show their trust in us. By the end of 2004, CSM provided continuous and various ratings data and service for over 20 international advertising agencies and broadcasters, over 100 TV stations (including national, provincial and city TV stations), and nearly 400 domestic advertising agencies as well as some well established domestic enterprises in China.   Besides the established TAM networks, CSM pioneered radio audience measurement in 2000 and CSM has built an independent RAM network to cover 23 major cities in China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Shenzhen, Chongqing, Shenyang, Wuhan, Xian, Changchun, Changsha, Dalian, Fuzhou, Ha’erbin, Jinan, Qingdao, Tianjin, Zhengzhou, Shijiazhuang, Urumqi, Suzhou and Foshan. Among these cities, it conducts uninterrupted audience measurement in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Nanjing and Chongqing, and conducts audience measurement at intervals in the other 19 cities.
