二：語音變輕鬆
本期的“語音變輕鬆”講的是外國人在説話的時候經常偷懶，比如在説How are you doing?
這句話的時候經常會把其中的are省略掉，其實這是有語法錯誤的，但是外國人經常這麼説，成了習慣也就認為沒什麼了。
還比如：When are you leaving? 可以説成When you leaving?
Where are you going? 可以説成Where you going?
What are you doing? 可以説成What you doing?
在口語上可以這麼表達，但是書面上不要這麼寫，因為這是不符合語法規則的。當你這麼説的時候，外國人絕對能聽得懂。

Saving Private Ryan 拯救大兵瑞恩
On June 6, 1944, Allied forces launched their largest invasion. Over 150,000 men landed by air and sea in Normandy to liberate Europe from Nazi oppression. It was a turning point in World War II.
1944年6月6日 盟軍發動了他們最大規模的進攻。超過15萬的士兵分別從空中和海上登陸諾曼底來解放在納粹壓迫下的歐洲。這是二戰的轉捩點。
On Omaha Beach, American forces fight through a withering crossfire as they leave their landing craft in rough seas. Captain Miller and his company of rangers manage to crawl through the German obstacles to the seawall and assault a German casemate, opening an exit off the beach.
在奧馬哈海灘上，當美軍在洶湧的大海中離開登陸艇的時候，他們得衝過交叉火力點。Miller 上尉和他的突擊隊員們試圖穿越德軍的海防線，來攻擊德軍的一個碉堡，打開海灘的缺口。
As the position consolidates, Miller is given his new assignment, to find Private Ryan, who had been parachuted somewhere in Normandy. Ryan is the sole surviving member of four brothers, the other three having been killed in action. The American command takes the decision to bring him back for his mother's sake. Therefore, Captain Miller takes his squad behind enemy lines on this dangerous mission.

As the squad pushes deeper into enemy territory, their trek leads them through a handful of tense predicaments before reaching their objective. As things turn out, the unpredictable nature of war poses a challenge that tests everyone's fortitude. They happened to meet a private Ryan, but he is not the one Captain Miller wants to find.
當小分隊推進到敵軍區域時，他們的長途跋涉，使他們在完成任務之前處於很危險的境地。

Eventually, at the expense of two members of their unit, Miller and his men catch up with Ryan. They break the news of his brothers' deaths to him and tell him that he is going home. Ryan is reluctant, but decides not to desert his strategically important post. Finally, Captain Miller and the rest of rest his men decide to stay. In order to cooperate with Ryan in defending the bridge, they get ready to ambush.
最終，救援小隊在付出了犧牲兩個人的代價後，Miller 上尉和他的隊員們找到了瑞恩。Miller 上尉把噩耗告訴瑞恩，説他的哥哥們全部戰死沙場，並告之他可以回家了。但是瑞恩卻不願意，他決定留下來堅守自己的陣地。最終 Miller 上尉和其他人都決定留下來。為了協助瑞恩守住大橋，他們做好了埋伏的準備。
Through fierce fighting, all but two members of the unit are killed. Ryan survives. The message is clear: war is Hell, so let us treasure peace.
經過激烈地戰鬥，小分隊只有兩個人倖存了下來，瑞恩也活了下來。影片清楚地告訴我們：戰爭就是地獄。所以 讓我們珍愛和平
