　　個人簡歷：

　　柳素英，美國人，大學時開始學習中文，2001年第一次來到北京。畢業後她選擇來到北京發展，並在這裡工作和生活。

　　2003年，她報名參加了“外國人中華才藝大賽”，並在大賽中榮獲三等獎。

　　柳素英説自己最初對中國文化一無所知，由於學習中文的緣故，她閱讀了很多中國歷史，她説自己最欣賞的是武則天。

　　Liu Suying says she knows little about Chinese culture at first. Because of learning Chinese, she read many Chinese history books. She says her favorite figure is Wu zetian.

　　出於對中文的熱愛，柳素英還讀了很多中文言情小説。或許是文化的差異，她説這些文學作品雖然好看，但是讓她費解的是在這些言情小説中，她卻找不到大家談論的愛情。

　　Because of her enthusiasm for Chinese, Liu Suying also read many Chinese love novels. Perhaps due to different cultures, Liu suying says these love novels are good works, but she can not find any love in these love novels.

　　柳素英説自己心目中的愛情應該是明朗和開放的，對於愛情她有自己獨特的見解。她還曾經自己創作了一首中文歌曲，表達自己對愛情的嚮往和感受。

　　Liu Suying says her interpretation about love is bright and open. She has written a Chinese song, expressing her desire and feelings towards love.

　　在北京生活了一段時間後，柳素英覺得自己已經成了一個地道的北京人。她説自己最喜歡的是北京的衚同，在那裏有著最真實的生活氣息，那種氛圍讓她倍感親切，就像回到了自己的故鄉。

　　After living in Beijing for a long time, Liu Suying thought she has become a real Beijinger. She says she loves Hutong in Beijing, as in hutong you can feel the real living atmosphere, which make her feel hospitable, as she has been back hometown.

　　雖然在北京生活的日子有苦也有樂，柳素英説她對這裡的一切都已經産生了濃濃的眷戀之情

　　Although living in Beijing has lots of bitterness, while happiness happens all the time. Liu Suying says now she has have great affections to this old city.

　　柳素英説北京是一個充滿了生機的地方，她希望在這裡能夠實現自己的夢想。

　　柳素英説她還很年輕，未來會發生什麼誰也無法預料，但她相信自己能夠把握和珍惜的就是已經擁有的一切。

　　Liu Suying says Beijing is a lovely city, in which she wants to realize her dreams.

　　Liu Suying says she is in her mid-twenties, she says she don't know what will happen the next minutes, but she believes what she can control and cherish is what she already has.
