　　電影：《兒女一籮筐》 Cheaper By The Dozen

　　故事梗概：Movie Summary

　　The Bakers have 12 children. The eldest daughter is 22-years-old and the youngest sons, the twins, are only 5-years-old. The household is situated in a small town, and their concern and love makes their home life warm and romantic. Of course, with such a large family, there are also moments of chaos and confusion.

　　貝剋夫婦有12個孩子， 大女兒已經22歲，最小的雙胞胎兒子，只有五歲，一家人住在一個小鎮上，彼此的關愛和親情使得生活溫馨而浪漫，當然有時難免也會産生混亂。

　　Tom Baker is football coach in small town, but one day he gets a chance to coach a major college team. And so, the family must move to the big city. Although the children are all opposed to the change, the household begins to adjust to their new life.

　　貝克身為小鎮上的橄欖球教練，得到了大學執教的機會，他們因此將要搬到大城市，在大多數孩子的反對中，一家人開始了新的生活。

　　Wife Kate’s job takes a favorable turn, and her book gets published. She goes on a book tour to publicize the book, and suddenly the responsibility of taking care of the family falls on the husband’s shoulders.

　　妻子凱特的事業也有了轉機，她的文集已出版發行，因此，她將要到各地進行宣傳，家庭的重任一下子全都落到了丈夫貝克肩上。

　　The twelve children begin to make trouble, all coping in different ways with the new life that has been forced upon them. Some of the brothers and sisters don’t like their eldest sister’s boyfriend, and they cook up a sneaky plot to give him a difficult time. .

　　Tom is furious about the children’s lack of respect. As punishment, he refuses to let the children take part in the neighbor boy’s party. But the children completely ignore the command, and show up at the party --- at which point the party falls into wild confusion.

　　Though Baker and Kate are having success in their jobs, but they can’t juggle both family and careers, and the children become neglected. Feeling unloved by the family, one of their sons runs away from home. This incident unites the whole family as never before. Turning out in full force and working together, they finally find the child in the end. The inseparable love of the whole family makes the Bakers face their lives anew. They decide to give up all they have and return to their simpler early life.
