 One of the major move taken by the new premier and the new government is government restructuring, also called the rationalization of the governmental functions. Because more emphases are laid this time on the improvement of the governmental coordination and efficiency instead of just down sizing the government. This is also a legacy left by previous administration and premier Zhu Rongji.
Whatever the resistance the new leadership might have, the determination is obvious, that is the new government and leadership will continue with the push to promote the efficiency as well as to reduce the overlapping function of the new government.
