Of course, it is not the cure to the financial crisis. But, it is natural for each country to have this tendency. Today's world is interconnected very tightly. Anything happened in one country will head to the others finally. To some level, protectionism is not bad, at least, they are trying to survive themselves, thus, indirectly help the others. But, it would be a deadly mistake ONLY consider themselves and ignored the others. No one can ONLY survive himself in such an interdependent world.

I don't think it's the cure right. Over the world ,development depends on cooperation. We should not broken the ties between others under the speical time. The real reason of the current financial crisis should be found.

I think this is right.special policy at special time.during global economy downturn,in Hangzhou, the local government has send out many coupons instead, and the comsumption has enlarged.I think positive measures like this are effective and acceptable.

Protectionism is a very broad word, we should not put everything into its sechedule, but clearly the protectionism tendecy has become a trend when the each government is curing its own economy, although it is not a wise and proper treatment.

i don't think the"buy american" policy will solve the financial crisis problem.it will only worsen the whole world economy and leave the whole world in ruin.as the biggest economy in the world, the u.s should act as an leader and take the responsibility.buy as many foreign goods as possible,so that the world economy would bounds back.
