Second CPC National Congress   2002-09-05 12:50:06 The Congress, held in Shanghai from July 16 to 23, 1922, put forward the anti－imperialism and anti－feudalism democratic revolutionary program and confirmed that the maximum program of the Party is to realize socialism and communism. The current tasks were to overthrow the warlords, eliminate international imperialist exploitation, reunify China and make it a real democratic republic. The Congress elected Chen Duxiu, Deng Zhongxia, Zhang Guotao, Cai Hesen and Gao Junyu as central executive committee, and Chen Duxiu as chairman.
