 The First Session of the 10th National People's Congress held its first press conference today in Beijing. The upcoming First Session of the 10th National People's Congress will bring in China's new generation of state and government leaders, thus the agenda of the session adopted.
The session, due to open on Wednesday, will elect new NPC Standing Committee chairman, state president and chairman of the Central Military Commission and decide on the candidate for the premiership of the State Council.
Institutional restructuring of the State Council is also on the agenda.
