The presidium of the first session of the 10th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference （CPPCC） held its first meeting at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing Sunday afternoon.
The meeting examined and approved a list of 14 executive chairpersons of the presidium and a list of chairs for the meetings of executive chairpersons. The meeting adopted a decision of designating Jia Qinglin as the chair of the meetings of the executive chairpersons of the presidium.
The meeting also examined and approved the agenda of the first session of the 10th CPPCC National Committee, a list of executive chairpersons and chairs of plenary meetings of the first session of the 10th CPPCC National Committee, the way of grouping CPPCC National Committee members for group discussions and a list of group discussion organizers, a list of deputy secretaries－general and the organizational setup and tasks of the secretariat of the first session of the 10th CPPCC National Committee.
According to the agenda adopted today, the first session of the 10th CPPCC National Committee is to open on March 3 and close on March 14.
