　　中國工藝美術珍品中國工藝美術珍品展覽展示的是中國當代工藝美術珍品。展品約300件，包括玉雕、石雕、雕漆、刺繡、金屬工藝品、藝術陶瓷等。中國工藝美術珍品展覽精品薈萃、琳瑯滿目，體現了高超精湛的技藝。作品皆是中國工藝美術大師創作的精品，許多為國家級珍寶。其風格之異、手法之巧、情趣之美都是不可多得的。展示了中國當代工藝美術在繼承傳統基礎上豐富和發展的豐碩成果，具有極其鮮明的民族特色和時代風格。

Masterworks of Contemporary Chinese Art The Chinese Arts and Handicrafts Exhibition presents some 300 masterpieces of contemporary Chinese industrial arts, featuring jade carving, stone carving, carved lacquerware, embroidery, and metallic arts and crafts. The Exhibition, representing masterly and exquisite workmanship, can be compared to a feast to the eyes and a superb collection of choice items. The unique styles, ingenious skills and qppeal of the exhibits are all one in a thousand. All of these works are from the hands of Chinese masters of arts and handicrafts, and many are treasures under State protection. Displaying the achievements in contemporary Chinese arts and handicrafts scored through enriching and developing the heritages, the Exhibition savors distinctive national characteristics and style of the times.

　　曾在奧地利維也納金色大廳有過精彩表演的中央民族樂團，此次將把曲調旋律優美、民族特色濃郁的中國民族音樂奉獻給美國人民，讓他們分享中國民族音樂所具有的空靈、清麗、古樸、柔美。
　　中央民族樂團建團三十多年，薈萃了眾多優秀的民族音樂人才。它以弘揚中國傳統民族音樂文化為宗旨，收集整理了一大批優秀的傳統和民間音樂，並將其搬上舞臺。同時還創作演出了許多優秀的民族音樂作品。三十多年來，樂團的演出遍及海內外，深受國內外輿論的好評。

The ensemble, which has given brilliant performances in the Golden Hall in Vienna, Austria, will bring the Chinese national music characterized by beautiful melody and clear national features to American audience. The Americans will have the opportunity to enjoy the elegance of delicacy, purity, and primitive simplicity in the Chinese classical music.
　　With a history of more than 30 years, the China National Music Orchestra boasts a wealth of outstanding artists. For promoting the traditional Chinese music, the ensemble has collected and sorted out numerous excellent traditional and folk music and staged them while creating and performing a number of fine national musical works. Over the past three decades, the orchestra's performances have enjoyed great popularity both at home and abroad.

　　錦繡中華民族舞蹈團成立於1991年，薈萃了來自中國各地的漢、回、維、滿、壯、蒙、藏、傣、白、佤、瑤、彝、哈尼等民族的創作藝術水準很高的專業演員和編創人員。迄今，已排演了《中國風韻》、《七色花》、《藍太陽》等精彩節目十余臺。該團創作和演出的節目曾多次獲獎。作為友好使者，該團曾也訪了包括美國在內的十幾個國家和地區，以精湛的演出博得了海外觀眾的喝彩，向世界展示了燦爛的中國民族舞蹈藝術。

　Traditional Dance Shows by the Splendid China Folk Dance Company

　Established in 1991, The Splendid China Folk Dance Company has Gathered outstanding dancers and choreographers of the Han, Uygur, Zhuang, Mongolian, Tibetan, Dai, Bai, Va, Yao, Yi, and Hani ethnic groups throughout China. The Company has produced and performed The Charm of China, Seven-Colored Flowers, The Blue Sun and many other brilliant pieces, some of Which have won national awards. The Company has paid friendly visits to many countries and regions, including the United States of America, and displayed the charm of the Chinese tranditional dance to the overseas audiences.

　　富貴典雅的中國服飾文化

　　中國歷史悠久，民族眾多，五千年的文明積澱了各個朝代、各個民族服飾的鮮明風格。秦漢（前221-220）服飾大氣古樸，隋唐（581-907）服飾富貴典雅，宋明（960-1644）服飾絹秀精巧，清代民國（1644-1949）服飾優美華麗。中國每個少數民族也都保留着傳統的生活方式，他們的傳統服飾色彩紛呈，各具特色。自古以來，中國服飾文化通過舉世聞名的“絲綢之路”流傳到世界各地。新中國成立50年以來，特別是改革開放20年來的今天，中國的服飾工業得到了長足的發展。這裡展示的是中國當代最優秀的服裝設計師和中國頂級名模聯合演繹的中國服飾文化的精髓。通過“中國歷代服飾”、“中國少數民族傳統服飾”和“中國當代服裝編織業”等三部分，向公眾展現了一個悠遠而嶄新的中國編織服裝業的瑰麗形象。

China is a time-honored country with many ethnic groups. The 5000-year civilization has produced distinct dressing styles of various dynasties and ethnic groups. Garments in the Qin and Han dynasties(221BC-220AD)were grandiose yet unsophisticated; those in the Sui and Tang dynasties(581-907)were ornate and elegant; those in the Song and Ming dynasties(960-1644)were refined and exquisite; those in the period of the Qing Dynasty and Republic of China(1644-1949)were graceful and magnificent. Since ancient times, Chinese fashion has evolved and reached other parts of the world mostly by way of the legendary Silk Road. However, since the founding of New China fifty years ago-and particularly following the reform and opening of the last twenty years--the Chinese fashion industry has witnessed unprecedented development. This exposition is in intended to present an overview of the evolution of Chinese fashions and accessories. On display here are the latest creations of contemporary Chinese designers, presented by top Chinese fashion models. The exhibit has three different sections: Ancient Chinese Fashion and Accessories, Fashions and Accessories of Chinese Ethnic Communities, and Contemporary Chinese Fashion and Textiles.
