| HK SAR chief executive meets Taiwan businessmen |

Tung Chee Hwa, chief executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region （SAR）, met with a group of Taiwan businessmen at the Government House Sunday.
Tung briefed the Taiwan visitors on the implementation of the "one country, two systems" after Hong Kong's return to the motherland, according to a press officer of the SAR government.
Tung said that after the return, Hong Kong has been maintaining a close tie with the mainland in economic cooperation and exchanges, which have provided Hong Kong with more opportunities for its future development.
Tung also told the visitors about the progress in negotiating the arrangement of closer economic links between the mainland and Hong Kong.
The 33－member delegation of "the Chamber of Taiwan Businessmen in China" made a stopover in Hong Kong on the way to their mainland visit.
