　　City of Angels 《天使之城》

　　Seth is an angel placed on Earth, taking charge of sending dead people to heaven. Maggie is a Los Angeles heart surgeon who takes it as her sacred duty to save the lives of her patients. But one day, she fails, and her patient dies. Seth appears on the scene to take the patient to heaven. Maggie accidentally looks directly into his eyes, and although she can't see him, the look moves Seth deeply. Maggie cannot bear the failure of losing a patient, and becomes depressed. Seth feels sympathy for her, and decides to take human form in order to talk to her and comfort her. In their conversations, he reassures her by telling her she did nothing wrong, that there is simply a natural time for people to die. Maggie regains her confidence and becomes increasingly intrigued by Seth's presence and his ideas. Thus an angel and a woman fall in love. Yet Maggie finds that Seth is different from ordinary people. Maggie appreciates Seth’s warmth and concern, but she is suspicious of his lack of a past. Nevertheless, she can’t resist his charm, and is puzzled and frightened by this strange situation. Seth realizes he loves Maggie, and so he decides to give up eternity and become fully human, so they can spend the rest of their lives together. Seth soon finds life is difficult without money, but he feels excited because he can now fully love Maggie. With great difficulty, he finds Maggie and for the first time experiences what love is. The next day, Maggie takes a bike ride to the store, and on her way back home she is hit by a logging truck. Seth rushes to her side, and is with her during her last few moments of life before she dies.

　　Molly and Sam love each other deeply. They are renovating an old floor of a building to transform it into their dream apartment.

　　Sam and Carl are good friends who work together at the same financial company in New York City. Tragedy befalls the happy couple when Sam is murdered during what seems to be a night robbery.

　　Sam, now a ghost, lingers around their apartment at first, wishing to comfort his grieving lover. But he soon he finds out that his real murderer was his friend Carl, who wanted to get at Sam’s money. When Carl tries to seduce Molly to get the code to the money, Sam is at first a helpless bystander, but in his rage he discovers that he can move objects in the physical world. Thus he can protect Molly, yet he still can't communicate with her. Sam seeks the help of a spiritualist named Oda May Brown. Oda May is merely a charlatan, but through her interactions with Sam, her sixth sense becomes active, and she becomes a true link between the living and the dead, helping Sam to communicate with Molly. At first, Molly doesn't believe Oda May is really communicating Sam’s words, but little by little, Sam is able to convince Molly that he is really there in the same room with her. In order to protect Molly and punish the murderer, Sam decides to take revenge. He asks Oda May to take the money that Carl stole from the bank and contribute it to the church. When Carl finds out he becomes enraged, and begins to threaten Molly. Fortunately, Sam and Oda May appear in time to save Molly, and Carl descends into Hell. Having accomplished his duty, Sam must go to Heaven. But before he goes, he allows Molly to see him one last time, and the two bid farewell.

　　Demi Moore was born on November 11th, 1962. Her real father was an unemployed gambling addict who left her mother before she was born. In order to make a living, Demi's mother remarried. Unfortunately, her stepfather did not add any stability to the family. Demi grew up dealing with alcoholism, poverty, divorce, poverty and her stepfather’s suicide when she was 18. The couple stayed together for 11 years, producing three daughters. They divorced in 1998, and she has since changed boyfriends frequently. With persistence and a flare for publicity stunts, such as appearing nude on the cover of Vanity Fair while she was pregnant, she secured her place in tinseltown. Moore may have been criticized for her intense ambition, but there is no doubt that she has been prosperous in her career. She is now recognized as one of the most powerful and influential women in Hollywood and she now rakes in over 12 million dollars a picture. However, her most unforgettable and appealing film is still "Ghost". Whenever the song “Unchained Melody” is heard, the image of Demi Moore's smile, along with a tear, will always come to mind.
